A man was killed after being found shot outside a North York subway station on Wednesday evening.
Officers say they received reports of gunshots shortly after 10 p.m. in the area of Yonge Street and Sheppard Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim shot in a parking lot near the station entrance.
Police say they provided all necessary measures in an attempt to save him. No further information about the victim or suspects has been released.
Officers have closed southbound Yonge Street between Elmhurst and Sheppard for the investigation. Officers say the north exit to the transit center was not accessible during the investigation.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to contact the police.
