Uruguay's national team defeated Canada's national team (2-0) in the international friendly football match that took place today, Tuesday, in Bratislava.
Nicolas De La Cruz, the River Plate Argentine midfielder, scored the first goal for Uruguay in the sixth minute, then Darwin Núñez, Liverpool's English forward, added the second goal in the 34th minute.
Uruguay's national team plays in Group H in the World Cup in Qatar alongside Portugal, Ghana, and South Korea, while Canada's national team plays in Group F alongside Belgium, Morocco, and Croatia.
