The results of an investigation conducted by European media revealed the involvement of French President Emmanuel Macron in assisting the French company "Nexa," which specializes in spyware, in selling its products to several countries.

The journalistic investigation regarding the "Predator Files" indicated that "Macron personally participated in a meeting for the company itself in 2018 concerning the sale of software to the French state." His former advisor, Alexandre Benalla, acted as an intermediary between "Nexa" and an Arab country that intended to purchase the spyware program "Predator," designed to hack smartphones.

The investigation also pointed out that "the meeting held at the Élysée Palace in April 2018 between representatives of Nexa and Macron, attended by Benalla and General Éric Bio-Farina, head of security at the Élysée, aimed to introduce the company's products to the French presidency."

It was noted that the spyware developed by the French company is sold worldwide using obscure methods and mysterious intermediaries, which are subsequently used for "controversial" purposes.

The investigation also confirmed that "Nexa, which provides services to the French state and intelligence agencies of several countries, is currently under investigation by the crimes against humanity department of the Paris court, following complaints filed by two NGOs regarding its activities with the French prosecutor."
