Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas discussed the latest developments in the difficult situation in Palestine with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
During a phone call with the Prime Minister of Canada on Friday, Mahmoud Abbas emphasized the need for an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression against our people, the protection of civilians, the opening of urgent humanitarian corridors to Gaza, the provision of medical supplies, and the delivery of water, electricity, and fuel to the citizens there.
Abbas renewed his complete rejection of the displacement of our people from Gaza, as this would constitute a second Nakba for our people.
Abbas urged the Prime Minister of Canada to provide protection for the Palestinian community in Canada from the harassment and threats they face.
