It will be an "exceptionally" hot and humid day in Southern Ontario.
Shortly after 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for several cities in the Golden Horseshoe area.
The National Weather Agency said humidity levels are expected to reach 41 to 43 degrees Celsius in Toronto.
Similar forecasts were issued for Hamilton, Halton-Peel, London-Middlesex, Niagara, Sarnia-Lambton, Simcoe-Delhi-Norfolk, Elgin, and Oxford-Brant. In Windsor, temperatures are expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius.
Daytime highs will be between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius across most of Southern Ontario.
The agency said that at night, temperatures only drop from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.
