The French news channel ''BFM'' reported that the police shot a woman inside a metro station in Paris on Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023, who ''threatened the safety of passengers and glorified terrorism''.

France Presse Agency quoted the police saying that the woman shouted the phrase ''Allahu Akbar'' inside the metro car at the level of the François Mitterrand Library station in the 13th arrondissement of the French capital.

The channel said that a number of metro users reported to the police the presence of a woman inside one of the cars ''threatening the safety of passengers and glorifying terrorism''.

The channel also clarified, quoting police sources, that the station was evacuated and the woman was isolated inside it, pointing out that she ''refused to comply with police orders'', leading the officers to decide to shoot her ''for fear of their safety''.

The woman was injured in the abdomen and was evacuated, with no information about her health condition.

No explosives were found in her possession.
