The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority announced today, Sunday, the suspension of air traffic at Gwadar Airport until next Tuesday.

The authority's spokesperson stated that the decision came in response to the flooding situation in the city of Gwadar, according to the Pakistani Associated Press.

A new notice was issued confirming the suspension of flight operations at Gwadar Airport until Tuesday.

Earlier, the government of Balochistan province declared a state of emergency and declared Gwadar a disaster-stricken area after heavy rains caused severe damage in the city.
