At the café elevated above the sidewalk, there are four desires,

To establish an emotional relationship with the place,

To water your contemplation with a cup of coffee,

To provoke the irritation of time by neglect,

To soak love in a romantic encounter...

At the elevated café

The waiter’s hand rises in greeting

And the cigarette smoke rises upwards

And my hand raises the coffee cup close to my mouth

And a lover lifts the peak of his beloved's forehead

While she lifts her head and looks at him a little

The café rises with them with a fifth desire

The road rises above the poverty line

And everyone’s pulse rises...

*

On the wall, a new picture is hanging of an ancient house

How new it looks

And on the picture of my ancient face, new wrinkles are drawn

How ancient I look...

*

In my room, the weather is very cold

And in the next room, the weather seems very hot

The sounds are thin

As if its wax is melting...

*

And I cross the road on my feet

The road cuts me like an immortal message on my corpse

I have not died

For I am at a crossroads...

*

On the sidewalk, there is a stall selling books and next to the book "The Killing Identity" there is a lost thrown identity of someone

Is it being registered

As a crime against an unknown...

*

My identity is lost

I have a ticket

That reminds me of my name, my country's name, and my mother's name

And proves to you that I am not unknown in restrictions...

*

There is no nation in the world

That has literature called diaspora literature

Except in these countries where two types of literature flourish

Prison and detention literature

And literature of diaspora, displacement, and homelessness

And modernity is merely updating the tools of torture, methods of displacement, and ways of writing about them...

*

I am now writing

And in my head, there are clouds raining

And above me, there are clouds raining

And somewhere, a woman's eyes are raining

I will try to find a more modern definition of thirst

I am "unlucky" in the official circulation of the citizen

And "ill-reputed" in the official sectarian circulation

And "infamous" in the official security circulation...
