A private source confirmed the injury of 6 soldiers from the Lebanese army, as a result of a shell fired from the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, where clashes have recently renewed.

The source added that the condition of one of the soldiers is critical.

He stated that the soldiers were injured after one of the barriers surrounding the Ain al-Hilweh camp was hit by a shell fired from within.

Renewal of Clashes

Clashes renewed in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, the largest Palestinian camp in Lebanon, on Saturday, between Fatah movement and extremist groups, resulting in casualties.

The "France Press" agency reported that 4 people, including a civilian, were killed in the clashes on Saturday.

The clashes returned to the camp on Thursday after weeks of calm.

A relative calm prevailed on Friday, but the clashes renewed again today.

In late July, clashes broke out between the two sides, resulting in the deaths of 13 people at that time.
