According to the recall notice issued by the Canadian government and published on Saturday, the contaminated eggs may not appear spoiled or have a bad odor but have the potential to make consumers ill.
The Canadian Ministry of Health warned in the statement that young children, pregnant women, the elderly, and anyone with a weakened immune system may be at risk of serious and sometimes fatal infections.
Short-term symptoms can include fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea.
The specific recalled products include the following:

The specific serial number of the recalled products can be found on the Canadian Ministry of Health website.
Consumers who are unsure whether they have purchased any of these recalled products are advised to contact their retailers for confirmation, and they are also encouraged to dispose of these eggs or return them to the place of purchase.
