Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly described the recent Russian attacks on Ukraine on Tuesday as "hateful" and said she condemns them "in the strongest possible terms."
Joly made this comment at a joint press conference in Tokyo following a meeting with her Japanese counterpart Yoshimasa Hayashi.
Russia rained cruise missiles on Ukrainian cities on Monday in what the United States described as "horrific strikes," resulting in civilian deaths and damage to infrastructure from its air raids since the beginning of the war.
