Slater Vecchio LLP law firm in Vancouver has filed a class action lawsuit against Quaker Oats on behalf of Canadians who were infected with Salmonella after consuming the mentioned company's products.
The plaintiff company stated that it is currently moving to represent the individuals affected by injuries resulting from their consumption of spoiled products belonging to the food company whose products contaminated with Salmonella were circulated and consumed.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency also recalled 38 products belonging to Quaker ”the defendant company” on January 11th, and after several days recalled more than 30 products from the same company
which contain granola that was previously withdrawn from the market.

One of the partners of the plaintiff law firm named “Sam Jaroski” also stated in a media release:
”Canadians trust the canned food products available in the markets, use them safely and without feeling any danger, and it is fair to hold suppliers of contaminated spoiled products accountable.
