Canada imposed sanctions on 6 individuals and 46 entities linked to the Russian military-industrial complex.
The office of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement today, Monday, saying: "Today Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will impose sanctions against 6 individuals and 46 companies related to the Russian defense sector, and 15 Ukrainian citizens for supporting Russia in destabilizing Ukraine, as well as 13 members of the Belarusian government and defense sector, and two Belarusian companies. Canada will take additional immediate measures to ban the export of certain advanced technologies that can enhance the capability of the Russian domestic defense industry, including quantum computers, advanced industrial equipment, materials, software, and related technologies."
