Drivers who will be driving on and around Montreal Island should note that there will be multiple road closures due to construction work, including Highway 25 in the Lafontaine Tunnel, the Saint-Pierre interchange, the Mercier Bridge, and other locations. From Saturday at 12:30 AM until Monday at 5 AM, closures will be in effect at the following locations: between Longueuil and Montreal, Highway 25 North between exit 90 (R-132, La Prairie, Varennes) on Highway 20 West and the entrance to Souligny Ave, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel; also, the Lafontaine Tunnel will be closed. As a result, the following virtual closures on the South Shore will be in place starting Friday at 11:30 PM: the east and west ramps of Route 132 (exits 89-N) to Highway 25 North, the east and west entrances to Marie-Victorin Boulevard in addition to the entrance to Île Charron Street, Du Boischerville Street, and the closure of Highway 25. Similarly, from Friday at 11 PM until Monday at 5 AM, the following closures will be in effect in Brossard and Marie-Victorin Boulevard, eastbound, between Highway 10 at the east ramp and the west entrance of Highway 10, resulting in the closure of the Highway 10 ramp (exit 6) to Route 132 East. Regarding the Saint-Pierre interchange, the closure will be from Saturday at 2 AM until Monday at 5 AM, between Montreal and Kahnawake, the Montreal-bound portion of the bridge. Highways 13 and the Trans-Canada will be closed from Friday, 11 PM until Monday at 5 AM, where there will be a reroute between Cote-de-Liesse Expressway (A-520) and Côte-Vertu Blvd, with one lane open in each direction. However, as a result, the westbound Highway 520 entrance to (Station Street) for Highway 13 North and Highways 13 and 15 will be closed on Friday. In the same context, two of the three lanes on southbound Highway 15, between exit 50 (Matte Blvd.) and the entrance to Route 134 (Taschereau Blvd), will be closed on Friday from 9 PM to Saturday at 7:30 AM. In Montreal, the northbound road between Jean Talon Boulevard and Parry Street and between Van Horne Street and Bourret Street will be closed from Saturday at 6 AM to Monday at 5 AM; also, two of the three lanes on southbound Decarie Blvd, between Van Horne Ave and Garland Place and between Isabella Ave and Côte-Saint-Luc Rd, will be closed from Saturday at 6 AM until Monday at 5 AM. As for the Ville-Marie area, two of four lanes on Robert Bourassa Street will be closed southbound, between Belmont Street and Figuier Boulevard West, on Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 PM; additionally, Victoria Ave, between Charron Street in Longueuil and Industrielle St in Saint-Lambert, will be closed Saturday and Sunday between 2 PM and 11:59 PM.
