The official website of the British Foreign Office published today, Wednesday, that David Cameron will head to Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan this week to inspect the political situation in the occupied territories, and discuss the ceasefire and the imposition of a new truce in Gaza.
The British site stated that British Foreign Secretary David Cameron begins his visit to the Middle East accompanied by Lord Tariq Ahmad, British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs.
It is worth mentioning that David Cameron stated: "This week I am making my second visit to the Arab region, to push efforts aimed at delivering aid to Gaza and releasing the remaining detainees from both sides," confirming that he will seek to build on Israel's decision to open the Kerem Shalom crossing to ensure the arrival of more aid and fuel to the Gaza Strip.
