The Arsenal team won against Nottingham Forest with a score of two goals to one, in the match that took place this evening, Saturday, at the "Emirates" stadium, as part of the first round of the English Premier League for the new 2023-2024 season.

After that, the Arsenal team controlled the proceedings in the first half against Nottingham, who retreated to their defensive area due to the Gunners' intense pressure.

In the 26th minute, Edward Nketiah scored the first goal for Arsenal inside Nottingham's net after a wonderful assist from the Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli.

Then Bukayo Saka extended Arsenal's lead over Nottingham Forest with a second goal, with a powerful strike in the 32nd minute of the first half.

Arsenal continued to dominate offensively in the second half against Nottingham Forest in an effort to score a third goal in the match. 
 
Nottingham Forest awakened in the last quarter of an hour of the match and managed to reduce the gap with Arsenal to 1-2 through player Taiwo Awoniyi in the 82nd minute of the match. 

 
The match remained a seesaw between Arsenal and Nottingham until the final whistle, with the Gunners winning 2-1 and securing the first three points at the start of their journey in the new Premier League season. 
 
With this result, Arsenal occupies the second place in the English Premier League table with 3 points, trailing behind the leaders Manchester City on goal difference, while Nottingham Forest remains with no points.
