A man from "Parkland" County has been charged in connection with sexual crimes involving a teenager, and police believe there may be more victims.
"Steven Cote," 54 years old, is charged with sexual assault, inciting sexual touching, enticing children, and luring them through social media.
The police said their investigation concluded that "Cote" began talking to a 14-year-old victim early in 2022 via social media, and she is not his first victim; there are many victims who were sexually exploited.
Anyone who has been in contact with or communicated with Cote on social media is urged to contact the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP at 780-997-7900.
