The US Central Command announced on the evening of Sunday, November 5, 2023, that the Ohio-class nuclear submarine has arrived in the US Central Command's area of responsibility in the Middle East.

The submarine will join the aircraft carriers "Eisenhower" and "Gerald Ford" and their accompanying warship groups that the US military had previously deployed in the region.

Earlier, the US command announced on Saturday the arrival of the aircraft carrier fleet "USS Dwight D. Eisenhower" to the Middle East as part of strengthening regional deployment.

It is also noted that the United States had previously sent many warships to the Middle East, including the aircraft carriers "Gerald Ford" and "Dwight Eisenhower," against the backdrop of the war between the Zionist entity and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The war entered its 31st day since the start of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation, as the Israeli occupation army continues to bomb the Gaza Strip amid international fears of the conflict spreading in the Middle East.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip also announced that the number of martyrs has risen to 9,770, including 4,800 children and 2,550 women, noting that 70% of the martyrs and wounded from the Israeli bombing on Gaza are women and children.

On the Israeli side, more than 1,400 people have been killed, including hundreds of soldiers.
