Air Canada announced that it has temporarily canceled its flights to Tel Aviv starting tomorrow, Sunday, after the attacks in Israel.
Stating, "We are closely monitoring this dramatic situation and will adjust these plans as needed."
The airline said in a statement on Saturday: “We are in contact with the Canadian government.”
Adding, "Air Canada will resume its operations to Tel Aviv once the situation stabilizes.”
The airline operates daily flights from Toronto to Tel Aviv.
However, on Saturday, hundreds were killed and thousands more were injured when dozens of Hamas militants launched an attack from the besieged Gaza Strip on nearby Israeli towns.
