The Iraqi police arrested a young man who stabbed his father with a knife, after he fled to an unknown location, and it was revealed through tracking that he was trying to escape through Baghdad's international airport.

A security source said yesterday, Saturday, that a judge in the Karkh criminal court was stabbed by his son using a sharp weapon "the knife," noting that "the incident occurred in the Tunis neighborhood, and while a protection officer was present to take him to the hospital, the son stabbed him again and fled to an unknown location.

The source clarified that the judge's health condition is stable, and after forming a task force and monitoring the cameras, the son was spotted heading to Baghdad airport, and a report was made about him, his characteristics were circulated, and he was arrested inside Baghdad International Airport.

Confessions of the accused in the murder of child Moussa

In another context, the woman accused of murdering the ten-year-old child Moussa, her stepson in Iraq, revealed shocking details, of a crime that shook the Iraqi street and stirred a huge uproar in the country for its brutality.

The Directorate of (Police) Anti-Crime in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, published a video last Thursday showing the confessions of a woman who admitted to killing her stepson by beating him after torturing him for days, while the director of anti-crime in the capital stated that legal actions will also be taken against the child's father.

The father’s wife, in her confessions, stated that she hit the child several times with a wooden stick, a knife, and a metal cooking ladle, and it seemed that she was accustomed to beating him severely, she also added that she smashed a door glass with his head days before his death.

The case was first revealed after the announcement of the child's death on social media, then a video appeared of the child inside what seemed to be a police station before his death, telling that he had been beaten and burned, showing signs of malnutrition.
