The Brazilian authorities announced that a small plane crash, which was carrying tourists, in the northwest of the country resulted in the death of at least 14 people.
The small plane crashed on Saturday in the Amazon rainforest while securing a flight between the cities of Manaus (3400 kilometers northwest of Brasília) and Barcelos (3800 kilometers northwest of the capital).
The same sources did not disclose the cause of the aviation disaster that occurred in the Amazon rainforest before reaching Barcelos, at a time when heavy rains were falling in the region.
Local press also confirmed that there were no survivors after the accident and that all the victims are Brazilian citizens.
