The spokesperson for the occupation government said that Tel Aviv is exerting pressure so that the Red Cross can visit the detainees in Gaza, adding that the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres must support efforts to undermine the rule of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza.
He also confirmed their outright rejection of any call for a ceasefire, because "this serves the interests of Hamas," according to his expression.
The spokesperson further stated that the occupation forces are advancing in southern Gaza and besieging the house of Yahya Sinwar, whom they consider responsible for the October 7 operation.
