Prime Minister Justin Trudeau congratulated the elected U.S. President Donald Trump, stating that he will work with him to "create more opportunities, prosperity, and security for both our countries."
Trump had described Trudeau as "weak" and "dishonest," criticized the trade agreement between the two countries, and vowed to renegotiate it, as well as impose tariffs on cars, steel, and more, according to the "Associated Press."
