A man runs in the hospital after being found shot in North York tonight, Wednesday.
Toronto Police said they received reports shortly after 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, about a man stabbed in the area of Jane Street and Finch Avenue West.
When officers arrived, they located the injured man who was initially believed to have been stabbed, but it was later revealed that the injuries were caused by a gunshot.
Paramedics in Toronto said the man was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The police said the area where the victim was found was not the shooting location, and the exact location of the incident is still unknown.
No detailed information about the incident has been released so far.
