Italian newspaper reports revealed today, Thursday, the latest developments in the negotiations between the officials of the Saudi Union and the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah and his team Liverpool to bring the pharaoh to the Tigers' squad during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" confirmed that the Saudi Union is preparing a huge amount of 300 million euros to finalize Salah's deal.

The Italian newspaper clarified that the offer includes 100 million euros, which Liverpool will receive.

It continued, as for Mohamed Salah, the captain of the Egypt national team, he will receive 200 million euros, the total of his salaries, in a contract lasting 3 seasons, ending in the summer of 2026.

Mohamed Salah, 31, has been playing for Liverpool for 6 years, having joined from Roma in the summer of 2017.

Meanwhile, the Saudi sports newspaper published a headline stating the union is getting closer to Salah, and said that the perspectives have converged in the path of agreement between Liverpool Football Club and the union to transfer the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah to the Saudi league.

It clarified that Liverpool had initially closed the door on Salah's transfer but later reopened the discussions due to the large financial offer made.

For his part, the Egyptian sports icon Salah wanted to complete his season with Liverpool, but the latter's opening of the negotiation door made him consider the Saudi offer very seriously.

It concluded that the Union Club hopes to prepare its team to ensure active participation in the Club World Cup, which will be held on its home ground amid its massive fans next December, with the participation of continental champions.

The Union officials are racing against time to convince Salah and Liverpool to accept the big deal before the summer transfer window closes in the Saudi league on September 7.

The union has so far signed four players: Frenchmen N'Golo Kanté and Karim Benzema, Portuguese Jota Filipe, and Brazilian Fabinho Tavares.
