The Body Shop closes 33 stores in Canada and stops online sales

 The Body Shop announced that it will close 33 of its 105 Canadian stores and will stop online sales after filing for bankruptcy protection in Ontario.

The British cosmetics brand said this is part of its restructuring procedures.

It added in a statement published on March 1 that all of its 105 stores are now open, but 33 of them will close in the near future."

Clearance sales will begin immediately at the following stores:

Lawson Heights (Saskatoon) •

Rideau Centre (Ottawa) •

 

Carlingwood Mall (Ottawa) •

 

Lloyd Mall (Lloydminster) •

 

Semiahmoo (White Rock) •

 

Cataraqui Town Centre (Kingston) •

 

Londonderry Mall (Edmonton) •

 

Shoppers Mall (Brandon) •

 

Champlain Place (Dieppe) •

 

Lynden Park Mall (Brantford) •

 

Stone Road Mall (Guelph) •

 

Corner Brook Plaza (Corner Brook) •

 

Mayflower Mall (Sydney) •

 

Sunridge Mall (Calgary) •
