Many users of the social media site "Instagram" received messages indicating that their accounts have been suspended, after an outage occurred for an unknown reason.

According to DownDetector, the problem started at 13:08 GMT, on Monday, and affects users worldwide.

While the cause of the outage remains unclear, many users have reported the issue.
