GO Train customers can now ride to and from Kitchener GO Train Station for free using the EasyGO fare card on Grand River Transit.
Passengers must first register for the Connect-to-GO program by filling out the GRT form, visiting a customer service center, or calling 5195857555.
It is also worth noting that the Connect-to-GO program is available only for GO trains and not for GO buses.
Passengers will receive a discount on their GRT fare when they tap their card twice.
Also, as of March 31, the program will not be available through showing a Presto card or GO Train ticket, as passengers must tap the EasyGO fare card to receive the discount.
Registered MobilityPLUS riders can travel to and from Kitchener GO Train Station for free.
