300 lawyers from various nationalities and religions around the world volunteered "to prosecute Israel for its crimes against the Palestinians."

A French lawyer named Maître Gilles Devers initiated the mobilization of an "army of lawyers" within 10 days.

Devers confirmed in a televised interview that the list includes 300 lawyers so far, and 3,000 more can be gathered, noting that the door for joining is still open to anyone "as witnesses to Israeli crimes."

Devers also said: "We have filed a complaint to the prosecutor in the name of associations and unions for committing genocide, and the Palestinian case will be presented in all national and international courts," noting that "governments can do something."

Devers, who is considered one of the oldest French lawyers, threatened the Israeli authorities with a "dark fate," and said to the Palestinians: "You had no one to defend you, but now you have an army in the international and national courts."

Devers has extensive experience in international cases; he is registered with the Bar Association at the International Criminal Court, holds a doctorate in law, and has recognized expertise in international law and European Union law, where he offers these skills in the service of liberating peoples. In Palestine, Devers has been working with many political groups and civilian populations since January 2009, to defend the Palestinian people. Who is Gilles Devers

On another level, many French ambassadors in the Middle East expressed their regret over the pro-Israel shift taken by French President Emmanuel Macron in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, expressing their concern about the repercussions of this stance on France's interests in the region.

The French president’s retreat from his previous statements accusing Israel of bombing civilians, women, and children sparked controversy and division within French political circles.

Local media reports also indicated that "Paris is complicit in the Israeli war" on the besieged Gaza Strip through arms exports to Tel Aviv.

They stated that the French government issued arms export licenses to Israel with a total value of 357 million euros, including nearly 10 million for the manufacture of bombs, torpedoes, rockets, and shells.
