Royal Canadian Mounted Police: Jeremy MacKenzie, leader of the "Diagalon" online group, arrested in Nova Scotia

Jeremy MacKenzie, founder of the online group "Diagolon," was arrested in Nova Scotia on Wednesday on charges related to an alleged assault in Saskatchewan last year. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia say he was arrested in Cole Harbour, based on a Canada-wide warrant related to the charges Montiz faced in Saskatchewan in July.

Also, the Nova Scotia Police spokesperson, Cpl: "MacKenzie will be held in custody as part of court procedures related to his arrest warrant." The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Saskatchewan said this summer he was charged with assault, pointing a firearm, hurt and reckless use of a prohibited weapon after receiving a report in March of this year about an alleged attack near Viscount, in November 2021.

Also, the 36-year-old man was charged in his hometown of Nova Scotia with 13 firearms-related offences after police searched his home in January. MacKenzie was charged with harassment and intimidation in March in connection with a mask protest outside the home of Nova Scotia's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Robert Strang.

In the same context, on Monday, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre asked the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to investigate MacKenzie after he spoke about the sexual assault of his wife, Anida, during a live broadcast over the weekend.
