Quebec Pension Plan
According to Revenu Quebec, the Quebec Pension Plan (QPP) is a mandatory public insurance program designed for individuals aged 18 and older who earn an annual employment income exceeding $3,500.
Its primary goal is to help individuals working in Quebec, along with their families, achieve basic financial security in cases of retirement, death, or disability.
In other parts of Canada, there is a similar program known as the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
