The Quebec police charged a man named Regin Bacon, aged 71, with impersonating Santa Claus, as well as sexual assault, and drug possession and trafficking crimes. Additionally, the police reported that he sexually assaulted five women, and it was confirmed that he is the same person impersonating Santa Claus. It was also stated that he was arrested last May by the Quebec vice squad, where his computers were confiscated, but he was later released on bail. Furthermore, Bacon is accused of breaching his bail conditions, obtaining sexual services, and drug trafficking according to the latest police media report, which stated that the accused is the Santa Claus impersonator in Quebec City, where photos of a man wearing a "Santa Claus" suit on a Facebook account under the name Regin Bacon matched the suspect's photo included in the investigation. The police did not disclose additional information, adding that the investigation is still ongoing.
