The Russian President Vladimir Putin left the United Arab Emirates a short while ago, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on an official visit.

It is worth mentioning that President Putin met with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the past hours in the United Arab Emirates.

This visit to the United Arab Emirates comes for the procedures of bilateral talks between the two parties, as Russian-Emirati relations have recently witnessed remarkable development according to the provisions of the strategic partnership declaration between the two countries signed in 2018.

It is expected that the Emirati president and his Russian counterpart will present the main aspects of their bilateral trade cooperation, and the UAE is considered a key and strong partner for Moscow in the Arab world, especially since 2022.

It is worth mentioning that bin Zayed and Putin last met in June during the "St. Petersburg International Economic Forum", and Mohammed Al Nahyan also visited the city of St. Petersburg in October 2022.
