Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Thursday that global events continue to progress toward a "negative direction," accusing Western countries of playing a "dangerous, bloody, and dirty game" around the world, according to his expression.

Putin said in his speech at the "Valdai Club" forum in Moscow: "The West must start a conversation about our common future." He added: "In the modern world, they are unlikely to get away with it. The crisis will affect everyone. Humanity faces two paths: either further deterioration or trying to find new solutions together."

Putin blamed Western countries for playing a "dangerous, bloody, and dirty game" around the world, accusing Western governments of trying to control the world and desiring to control global resources.

Putin also accused Western countries of manufacturing "color revolutions" in other countries "like those that happened in Ukraine in 2014," adding that Western countries are "losing the upper hand" in global affairs.

Putin emphasized that "no one can tell Russia how to build its society." He said: "The West can do whatever it wants with gay parades, but they should not impose these rules on Russia."

He also pointed out that Russia defends its right to exist in the face of the West.

He demanded that the Security Council be reshaped, stating that the structure of the United Nations Security Council should be reconsidered to reflect the diversity of the world.
