South African President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed that his country has filed a complaint against Israel at the International Criminal Court.

Ramaphosa stated that Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza, pointing out that the sector has turned into a detention camp where genocide is taking place, according to him.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Catherine Russell condemned on Wednesday the horrific scenes she witnessed during a visit to the Gaza Strip, calling for "an end to this horror."

Russell, who visited the southern sector, said, "What I saw and heard was devastating. They have endured bombing, loss, and repeated displacement. Inside the sector, there is no safe place for Gaza’s million children to take refuge," adding, "Only the parties to the conflict can truly stop this horror."
