OC Transpo says the O-Train is temporarily disconnected due to a power outage caused by a severe thunderstorm moving through Ottawa.
The storm caused heavy rain and very strong winds with gusts reaching up to 120 km/h at some point in the afternoon.
More than 100,000 Hydro Ottawa customers lost power due to the storm. OC Transpo says O-Train Line 1 will be replaced by R1 bus service until further notice between Blair and Tunney’s Pasture stations.
The OC Transpo website was also down.
