Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded on Saturday to the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in which he said that he "does not see a difference" between Netanyahu and the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
Netanyahu said in a tweet on his account on the "X" platform, that "Israel, which is keen to follow the laws of war, will not accept moral advice from Erdoğan, who supports the killers and rapists in Hamas, denies the Armenian massacre, commits massacres against the Kurds within his country, and hides opponents of the regime and journalists."
The Turkish president had said during a speech in Istanbul on Saturday that he "does not see a difference" between Benjamin Netanyahu and the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
He added: "No one can push us to classify Hamas as a terrorist organization. Turkey is the country that talks openly with Hamas leaders, which stands firmly behind them."
Since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, Erdoğan has repeatedly described Israel as a "terrorist state."
