Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian star and best player in Africa and historic Liverpool player, has become the focus of attention for the Egyptian and Arab people and Liverpool fans currently due to the ongoing controversy surrounding the negotiations of the Saudi club Al-Ittihad to sign him in the coming hours and the tempting offer they presented to him.
English press reports have revealed that the fate of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's winger, has not yet been decided, despite the closing of the registration in the summer transfer window in the English league, amidst the ongoing registration in the Saudi league.
The English newspaper "The Sun" has stated that the closing of the registration window in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be next Thursday, September 7, which is the last hope for Al-Ittihad to determine the fate of Mohamed Salah.
The Sun added that an offer was made by the Saudi club before the registration closed in England last Friday, in order to secure the services of Mohamed Salah, estimated at around 200 million euros, making it the most expensive in football history, but Liverpool insisted on refusing.
The summer transfer market closed its doors in England at one o'clock this morning, Saturday, Cairo time, with the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah remaining in the Liverpool squad, and the deal for his transfer to Al-Ittihad being uncompleted.
Liverpool had refused to part with the services of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, despite the tempting offers that reached him from Al-Ittihad, which amounted to 200 million pounds, equivalent to 230 million euros, as the most expensive deal in football history, as reported by "Sky Sports".
The Spanish journalist Santi Ona also revealed that Mohamed Salah received a tempting offer from Al-Ittihad, with a contract lasting 4 years, extending until 2027, during which he will receive a total salary of 500 to 600 million dollars over the duration of his contract with the Saudi club.
