Italy: The embassy requests Italians to leave Russia

The Embassy of Italy to the Russian Federation recommended that Italian citizens residing there "assess" whether their stay is necessary, following the United States' request for its nationals not to go to Russia and for those present to leave immediately.

The Italian diplomatic mission in Moscow stated in a post that “considering the latest developments in the international context and the increasing difficulty of air and land transport outside Russia, citizens present in the Russian Federation are advised to assess whether their stay is necessary, and if not, to leave the country.”
