The wife of Israeli President Isaac Herzog revealed today, Monday, that contact has been lost with their son who is fighting inside the Gaza Strip.
Michal Herzog told the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) that one of their sons is among the Israeli soldiers who were called to fight in Gaza, and added: "We have had no contact with him for some time, but we hope that he is still alive."
The president's wife did not specify which of their three sons is in Gaza.
Israel announced the killing of more than 40 of its soldiers inside Gaza since the start of its ground operations in the strip weeks ago.
