It is noted that the prisoner Farouk Ahmed Issa, 30 years old, from the town of Abu Shukheidim northwest of Ramallah, was previously arrested for about two years. He is married and has a daughter. He was subjected to a medical assassination crime by being left prey to pains and suffering, which made him bedridden all the time, moving only when necessary and with difficulty.

The Prisoners and Released Affairs Authority stated in a statement that the prisoner Farouk is held by the occupation in Nafha prison according to an administrative detention order for six months, of which he has served four months until today. He has been suffering for some time from heart problems and bowel obstruction, with his health deteriorating during his current detention, and his weight decreased by 27 kilograms.

It added that according to the testimony of a prisoner who was detained with him in the same room in Nafha prison, Farouk is going through a complicated health condition, and when he consumes any type of food or water, he becomes a lifeless body and enters a near fainting state, from which he does not recover until he can vomit and expel everything in his stomach, which causes his weight to decrease rapidly and dangerously.
