The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for the Enoki golden mushroom due to potential listeria contamination.
The product was sold in packages weighing 200 grams in Ontario and may have been distributed nationally.
Customers are therefore asked to either throw away the mushrooms or return them to the store where they were purchased.
There are no reports of any illnesses associated with the product, and contaminated food does not have a specific appearance or a strong odor, but it can still make you sick.
Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache, and stiff neck.
