The Canadian province of Quebec is witnessing an increase in the spread of the coronavirus, with hospitalization cases reaching their highest levels since last winter.
The National Institute of Public Health reported that there are currently more than 1,200 coronavirus patients in Quebec hospitals, and about 30 deaths are recorded weekly.
The institute noted that more than 21% of those suspected of having contracted the coronavirus are testing positive, which is the highest rate since last December.
It is worth mentioning that the infection rate of the coronavirus in the Canadian province of Quebec has accelerated since last April, after peaking last winter.
