German Justice Minister Marco Buschmann announced that mask requirements will be reinstated in the fall to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
For his part, German Justice Minister Marco Buschmann stated that new measures will be taken across the country to prevent the spread of Covid-19, announcing that the mask requirement will be reinstated in the fall.
Buschmann emphasized that the autumn and winter months must be taken seriously and that the new measures and restrictions to be implemented will end by the end of July.
Minister Buschmann said they are working on reinstating mask requirements for public transportation in indoor public places, adding: "The effectiveness of masks indoors is undeniable. We are currently working on mask requirements in public transport."
The minister explained that there will be no return to quarantine, school closures, or curfews.
