A new explosion shook a mosque in Pakistan during Friday prayers today, leading to the roof collapsing on the worshippers, estimated to be in the dozens.
The Dawn newspaper reported, citing Pakistani police, that at least two people were killed and five others injured due to an explosion that occurred today Friday at a mosque in the city of Hangu located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of northwestern Pakistan.
It also added that the mosque is located in a police center, noting that the explosion occurred during Friday prayers and caused the roof of the building to collapse.
According to local security forces, between 30 to 40 people may be trapped under the rubble.
Earlier today, the "Dawn" newspaper reported that 52 people were killed and 50 others injured due to a suicide bombing in the city of Mastung in the southwestern province of Balochistan.
