Scientists from Sechenov Medical University in Moscow published a scientific study on the extent of the impact of coronavirus infection on men's sexual function.

According to the study results, the level of male hormones decreases when infected with "COVID-19," but after recovery, it returns to its normal level.

In this study, 44 men infected with "COVID-19" and 44 healthy volunteers participated. Ultrasound examination revealed no inflammation, bleeding, or blood flow disorder in the genital organs of the men involved in the study. However, hormone levels notably decreased, especially the testosterone hormone index.

But it ultimately turned out that this decrease was temporary, as three months after recovery from the disease, the indices returned to normal in everyone.
