The Canadian men's 4 × 100 meter relay team receives its Olympic silver medals on Saturday at the Canadian National Trials during a medal redistribution ceremony.
The group of Andre De Grasse, Aaron Brown, Brendon Rodney, and Jerome Blake initially received the bronze medal in this event at the Tokyo Games two years ago.
However, an official upgrade came in May 2022 after the British team was disqualified due to a doping violation by one of its members.
De Grasse, a six-time Olympic medalist and the reigning Olympic champion in the 200 meters, failed to qualify for the 100-meter final on Friday, while Brown won his fifth consecutive national title.
Damian Warner competes in the men's 110-meter hurdles final after failing to qualify for the 400 meters on Friday.
Warner is competing in individual events at the national trials instead of as the Olympic decathlon champion.
