Canada recorded 1,035 new cases of the novel coronavirus and 28 new deaths in the past 24 hours, according to data from Johns Hopkins University in the United States on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
Thus, the total confirmed cases in the country rise to 3,964,556 cases, while deaths rise to 42,065 cases.
Johns Hopkins University data today showed that 86,011,593 doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Canada so far.
It is noted that the vaccine doses and the number of people being vaccinated are estimates based on the type of vaccine given by the country, whether it is a single-dose or two-dose vaccine.
