Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took a risk this weekend when he decided to throw caution to the wind and go bungee jumping outside Ottawa on Sunday. Trudeau was wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, and tall boots when he threw himself off a 200-foot (60-meter) bungee tower overlooking a lake at Great Canadian Bungee in Chelsea.
The video also showed Trudeau standing on the edge of the platform before folding his arms in front of him as he counted down, preparing himself to jump. This clip comes after the strong reaction to Trudeau's previous video showing him playing and singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" in a hotel bar in London days before the Queen's funeral.
Without hesitation, the Prime Minister jumped off the top of the platform first with his arms extended as he headed toward the water, then footage from the company showed Trudeau's head diving into the water before bouncing back toward the platform. The company said in a post on Instagram, "You never know who you'll meet at the Great Canadian Bungee tower! Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came to jump this morning with his son Xavier and 13-year-old daughter Ella Grace."
