Continuing the charitable campaigns it conducts, the Canadian Islamic Relief Organization revealed that it distributed a number of charitable aids to the needy and homeless in the city of Victoria located in the province of British Columbia in the west of the country.

It explained that it distributed a group of aids in the form of clothes and heating equipment to overcome the unprecedented cold of the winter season that struck them, as well as food supplies and other aids to those who are in urgent need of them.

The organization added that, through an experienced team, it delivers and distributes aid to the eligible recipients, confirming the distribution of dozens of winter aid packages last Saturday alone in the city of Victoria, as part of the annual charitable campaign to assist the homeless in the winter season.

It pointed out that volunteers collected more than 300 winter packages to distribute to the homeless in the province of British Columbia over the past two months.

At the same time, Al-Rashid Mosque located in the city of “Edmonton” in the province of “Alberta” opened its doors to shelter those who have no housing amid the drop in temperatures and the severe cold wave that passed over the country.
